Every cap on this site is one size, adjustable. There is no small, medium, or large to choose between — you adjust the cap to your head after it arrives.
How the fit works
- Vintage wash dad caps — the majority of our range. Soft, unstructured crown that sits low, curved brim, and an adjustable strap at the back with a slide buckle. Loosen it fully before the first wear, then tighten to where it feels right.
- Snapbacks — flat brim, firmer crown, plastic snap closure at the back. Snap it one notch at a time until it holds without pressing.
- Bucket hat — no strap. Soft washed cotton that sits loosely on the head.
Men, women, and teens
The adjustable strap covers most adult head sizes, and the same cap works for men and women. If you are buying as a gift and are not sure, the adjustable strap is exactly why these travel well as presents.
Wearing it in
Washed cotton starts soft and gets softer. The crown will relax into your head shape over the first few wears — that is the point of a vintage wash cap.
Looking after it
Spot clean where you can. If it needs a proper wash, hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent, reshape the crown while damp, and let it air dry. Keep it out of the tumble dryer and away from hot water — heat is what warps a brim and shrinks cotton.
